David JP Phillips provides tactical tips for making clean presentation slides so they support your message. Powerpoint should be used as a visual aid, it should not be the entire presentation. The key takeaways include: keep to one message per slide, make the most important part of your slide the biggest (titles/headers don’t have to be the biggest on the slide if they are not important), use contrast to direct focus, and use a dark background so that more attention is drawn to the presenter.
