Forbes surveyed 1000 people who had all left and started jobs at companies with at least 500 employees and asked them why they left and what they were looking for in new employment. Leadership and bad bosses could be connected to 5 out of the top 7 reasons why an employee left their old company. #1 was burnout. This is directly connected to poor leadership if managers are burning out their employees at a high rate.
