Mayo is a large academic medical center that uses a salary-only structured compensation model with national benchmarks and clear standardized pay steps and increments sticks to and/or deviates from what was predicted for physician pay by gender or race/ethnicity. This document shows audited results of Mayo’s commitment to pay equity and is shared openly within the organization, serving as a dual demonstration of Mayo’s ability to “walk the walk”.
